Five Flowers of Five Points
ASI artists participated in steel workshops at The Essex Arts Center, where they created large-scale flower sculptures. Five of these flowers – “The Five Flowers of Five Points” – will be dedicated to the Five Points community with a celebratory wine tasting, hosted by Paradise Wine, for neighboring businesses and the general public.

Autism Services, Inc. Will Spring It On March 24th
On Thursday, March 24, 2016, Autism Services, Inc. (ASI) will participate in its third Spring It On, a 24-hour online fundraising event hosted by the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County. Spring It On is a unique campaign that will raise awareness and funds for more than 250 local non-profit agencies in Western New York.

Autism Services Receives Grant from R.M.H.C.
Autism Services, Inc. (ASI) is pleased to announce a grant award of $8,048.46 from Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York, Inc. The funding will be used to purchase two (2) much-needed Smart Boards® for classroom use at the agency’s Bryant Stratton Way location in Williamsville, New York.

Autism Services, Inc. Resource Center to Host Employment Workshop
Autism Services, Inc. announced an upcoming workshop to take place at the Autism Services, Inc. Resource Center, located at 97 Main Street in the Village of Hamburg, New York. This workshop will focus on the transitionary period after graduation from school. Topics to be discussed will include programs and services offered to those in transition, options available through New York State, and preparation for employment.

Autism Services, Inc. to Present 13th Annual Arts Work Sale and Auction
Plans are well underway for the 13th annual Arts Work Sale+Auction which raises funds to support Autism Services, Inc.’s (ASI) visual and performing arts program. The event will take place on Friday, October 9, 2015, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Asbury Hall on Delaware Avenue in Buffalo, New York.

Marla Gressley appointed Day Services Administrator
In her role with Autism Services, Ms. Gressley oversees daily operation of the agency’s two Day Habilitation Programs, as well as its Supplemental Day Habilitation Program. Her responsibilities include oversight of staff, budgets and the evaluation of all program systems to ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations.

Jeff Miller named Employment Services Coordinator
Mr. Miller is responsible for coordinating all employment and vocational services for Autism Services. Additionally, he searches for, and works with businesses to secure volunteer and paid employment opportunities, as well as coordinates the successful placement for participants of the agency’s Education Program and Day Habilitation Program.

Grand Opening of Little Free Library in North Buffalo
Autism Services, Inc. is excited to offer a Little Free Library to our North Buffalo neighbors. The way it works is simple, the library is stocked with a variety of good-quality books. In turn, neighbors stop by and borrow any book that suits their interest. Once the borrower is finished with the book, they return it and, if they’re able to, contribute a new one to share with others.

Director of Training and Staff Development, Shaun Doyle, will receive the Speech-Language-Hearing Association of Western New York’s (SHAWNY) 2015 Honors of the Association Outside of the Profession. SHAWNY awards this honor to an individual who is typically in a related profession who has supported the professions of speech-language pathology and audiology or the individuals served in a unique or outstanding manner.

Autism Services, Inc. (ASI) is pleased to announce that Director of Clinical Services, Tracy A.
